The AJBCC's Clean Energy Transition Advisory Committee is delighted to invite you to attend an exclusive meeting with Mr Kohei Toyoda, Director General for Energy Transformation Strategy at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC), on Thursday 20 February.
This event will offer a unique opportunity for a small group of guests to engage directly with Mr Toyoda, gain insights and an update on the some of the key policies shaping Japan's decarbonisation trajectory and industrial strategy.
Discussion topics will include:
- The implementation of Japan's hydrogen strategy including the Contract for Difference (CfD) subsidy scheme;
- The ongoing revision of Japan's Strategic Energy Plan and mid- to long-term energy policy;
- The ongoing revision of Japan's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC);
- GX Vision 2040; and
- JBIC's activities in the hydrogen area
Meeting participants will also be invited to exchange views on the status of the development of hydrogen projects in Australia and potential collaboration opportunities with Japan.
